The Community Improvement Award Program, sponsored by the Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce and the Huntingdon County Planning Commission, is intended to recognize excellence in development.  Award categories include: 

• New Construction

• Preservation: Historic/Adaptive Reuse

• Community Spirit

• Special Merit  

The 2024 Awards were presented by the Chamber of Commerce and Kish Bank as part of the HCPC's February 27, 2025 Annual Dinner Meeting and Awards Presentation.  Awardees included:

• New Construction - Juniata College, Statton Learning Commons 

• Preservation: Historic - Huntingdon Borough Town Clock Restoration

• Preservation: Adaptive Reuse - McGraw Contracting, LLC Office Remodel

• Community Spirit - Warriors Mark Area Historical Society Pavilion

• 20 Years of Continuing Excellence - Bonney Forge Corporation

Planning Commission members, Ron Rabena, Larry Mutti and Bryan Yingling were always awarded for their 20 years of service to the Huntingdon County Planning Commission.
