The Clerk advertises for bids and opens and reads them in a public meeting of the Commissioners. The Chief Clerk attends all Commissioners meetings, records all minutes, and advises the Commissioners on problems and issues requiring their attention. The Chief Clerk also attests to the Commissioners signature on legal documents.
