CDBG FY 2023 First Public Hearings - Huntingdon Co & obo Huntingdon Boro and Smithfield Twp

The first required public hearings for FFY 2023 CDBG are scheduled for Huntingdon County and obo Huntingdon Borough & Smithfield Township. Click the More Information button for details.
Notice is hereby given that the Huntingdon County Commissioners plan to submit an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) for Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The County has not been informed as to the amount of its FFY 2023 allocation nor the deadline to submit the application. Anticipated funding allocations based on FFY 2022 allocations are listed below. The application to DCED is expected to be due in October of 2023.
The first of two required public hearings regarding Huntingdon County and on behalf of Huntingdon Borough and Smithfield Township FFY 2023 CDBG program will be held in person at each municipality as follows. These hearings are accessible to individuals with disabilities and/or for persons with limited English proficiency. If you wish to attend and require special accommodations, please notify the Huntingdon County Planning and Development Department 72 hours in advance of the public hearing at (814) 643-5091 or via e-mail at jbellis@huntingdoncounty.net.
May 31st: Huntingdon Borough Office, 5:30 p.m.
June 5th: Huntingdon County Annex I, 5:30 p.m.
June 7th: Smithfield Township Building, 5:30 p.m.
