Census 2020 Facts

  • The number of people who participate in the Census determines the number of seats Pennsylvania gets in the U.S. Congress.
  • By law, responses to the Census are confidential.
  • Each person in Pennsylvania who participates in the Census provides our state with nearly $21,000 in federal funds for the next 10 years.
  • When people are not counted, Pennsylvania risks a reduction in federal representation and funding.
  • Cabin owners should also respond to the 2020 Census.
  • Everyone can respond online at mycensus.gov or by phone at 844-330-2020 or complete the paper questionnaire.


Free Fire Wood

Starting Saturday, May 2nd, free fire wood will be available at Warriors Mark Township's Upper Park - 4035 Warriors Mark Path, Warriors Mark, PA.  The fire wood is various lengths and range in diameters from 4" to 30+".  The majority of the wood is maple with a few pieces of pine mixed in.  Use caution, practice social distancing and wear proper protection when cutting, splitting and loading.

Congratulations to our own Vince Lombardi on being the recipient of the following prestigious state wide honor!  The Keystone Emergency Management Association (KEMA) is Pennsylvania’s official professional association dedicated to providing a Commonwealth-wide forum for the exchange of ideas, techniques, and best practices in Emergency Management.  At KEMA's 2019 Emergency Preparedness Conference, held at the Blair County Convention Center, October 27th - 29th, Huntingdon County Emergency Management Agency volunteer, who also is Warriors Mark, Franklin and Spruce Creek Township's Emergency Management Coordinator, Vincent "Vince" Lombardi was selected to receive the 2019 KEMA Municipal Coordinator Award for Excellence.

THEREFORE, ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING OR INTERESTED IN UNDERTAKING ANY ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE SUBDIVISION OR DEVELOPMENT OF LAND WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP, OR AN ACTIVITY WHICH IS RELATED TO THE MATTERS ADDRESSED BY ANY OF THE ORDINANCES APPEARING ON THE TOWNSHIP'S WEBSITE,  SHOULD SPEAK WITH THE TOWNSHIP SECRETARY TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE VERSION OF ANY ORDINANCE APPEARING ON THE TOWNSHIP'S WEBSITE IS THE MOST RECENT VERSION.
