Subdivision and Land Development (SALD) Plan Review

Section 502 of the PA Municipalities Planning Code gives the Planning Commission authority to review and comment on subdivision and land development proposals submitted to local municipalities.  The Commission also comments on consistency with Act 537, the PA Sewage Facilities Act.  Data on subdivisions and land developments received for review is available in the County Planning Commission's Annual Report.
The County Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.
A Ten Step Plan Submission Process was created to assist property owners with the subdivision and land development process.  The County Planning Commission's policy for reviewing subdivision and land developments is outlined in their adopted Review Policy.  This Policy was last revised in June 2014.
The County Subdivision and Land Development Application available online also contains the review fee schedule.
